Pennsylvania’s most anticipated RV show returns to the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center for four days.
HARRISBURG, Pa. — From Thursday through Sunday, Pennsylvania’s RV Super Show will feature the latest RV technology and accessories.
“We started this about five years ago and it has turned into the largest indoor RV show in the country. What’s so great about this event is that you can come in and see over 800 RVs under one roof, and when I say 800 RVs, I’m talking everything from 15-foot travel trailers, all the way up to 40-foot mobile homes, and everything in between,” described Rob Lynch.
Lynch is the President of RV Super Shows.
He and his team travel across the country for events like the one in Harrisburg.
RVs vary in size, price, and how many amenities are included.
Lynch says the event doesn’t exclude people outside the RV community.
“We have seen a huge influx in traveling nurses, x-ray techs, and just people that want to get on the road, see the country, and they go from city to city to get a job, and then they leave to go to the next city. That has been a huge part of our industry over the last four or five years and it continues to be a large part. In fact, the industry is beginning to fluctuate and design units for those minimalistic individuals since everything they want in a house can be packed in small RV.”
Prices for units are reduced during the four-day long event, although prospective buyers are encouraged to do their research and speak with brand representatives before committing.
“When I say recreational vehicles can have everything in your home or apartment, you can have in a traveling home. The industry comes up with the greatest ideas from dishwashers, garages, stainless steel sinks, appliances, solar… if you can have it in your house, you can have it in an RV,” Lynch said.
