Location: Day care center in Spring Township, several Berks Tompkins Community Bank branches.
Police account: Bern and Spring township police are seeking assistance identifying a female in a series of thefts, On Feb. 4, a white GMC Acadia, Elevation edition, (no tag displayed) was involved in thefts from vehicles at a day care center. Two days later the same female was spotted in the same vehicle going to Tompkins branches. The female impersonated several victims and cashed $10,400 in fraudulent checks.
