The Erie Women’s Fund had an educational panel discussion this morning to discuss how social pressures affect the mental and physical health of women.

The discussion was held at the Marquette Savings Bank Innovation Learning Center.

“We’re proud to convene meaningful educational sessions that spark important conversations and equip our members with knowledge they can carry into their families, workplaces, and the broader community,” said Dawn Joy, Educational Committee Chair for The Erie Women’s Fund. We’re deeply grateful to each of our panelists for sharing their expertise and lived experience to help shed light on the invisible pressures affecting women and girls every day.”

The sessions covered how pressures arise, the warning signs, and how those in women’s lives can support their mental health and well-being. Speakers of the panel brought diverse and professional perspectives from their own experiences.
