ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Winter Olympics in Italy may be over, but not for a group of seniors in Lehigh County.
The residents at Miller Personal Care in Allentown had their own fun on Thursday.
They took part in the “Miller Olympics”, where they showcased their athletic skills by competing in Olympic-themed challenges.
They were grouped together in teams, just like the real Olympics.
The games promote physical activity, teamwork, and joy.
“It’s so important because it keeps the residents active, engaged, enjoying themselves. The residents really enjoyed watching the Olympics,” said Eileen Kutzler, community life coordinator at Miller Personal Care.Â
Some of the competitors did so well, they even earned medals.
