Where: Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza

Tickets: $8. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the arena box office on the day of the event. There will be no free admission for adults over 65 and children under 5.

How they got here: Mountain View defeated Old Forge in the quarterfinals, 55-31, and Holy Cross in the semifinals, 50-44; Wyoming Seminary beat Lackawanna Trail in the quarterfinals, 57-14, and Elk Lake in the semifinals, 45-25.

Up next: The champion faces the No. 3 team from District 4 and the runnerup draws the District 4 champion in the first round of the PIAA Class 2A playoffs March 6.

She is shooting 80.7 percent (121 for 150) from the foul line this season. … The Lady Eagles average 53.3 points and allow 38.8 points. … Wyoming Seminary has never won a district title. … The Lady Blue Knights average 47.3 points. … Stambaugh, a University of Richmond commit, shoots 73.8 percent from the foul line (124 for 168). … These teams met in the district semifinals last season with Mountain View winning in overtime, 45-38. However, Kersey was injured and did not play in that game.

The Lady Cougars average 71.9 points, including a season-high 107 against Dallas on Jan. 29. … Scranton played a very challenging schedule. Its 12 losses came against teams with a combined record of 176-46, including five District 2 finalists, two District 2 semifinalists and a New Jersey team (St. Thomas Aquinas) that won its seventh straight Greater Middlesex Conference tournament title. … The Lady Knights average 50.6 points and allow 44.8 points. … Jacklinski scored her 1,000th career point Feb. 2. … These teams met Dec. 9 with Hazleton Area winning, 64-35. Bindas scored her 1,000th career point in that game.
