Editor’s Note: This is a weekly series featuring pets up for adoption from the Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem Township.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Meet Steve Harrington.
In recognition of ‘Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month,’ Women’s Animal Center concludes February by spotlighting another one of the Center’s shelter rabbits waiting to be adopted into a loving forever home.
Steve Harrington (named in honor of fans of Stranger Things) is a handsome 4-year-old ‘Lionhead’ rabbit. Initially shy at first meet, this gorgeous rabbit warms up to his human companions once he feels comfortable and at ease. And he is quite affectionate.
Because Steve has beautiful, long fur, he does require an adopter who will stay on top of brushing to keep his fur from matting.
This beautiful rabbit is available for adoption at Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, Pa. (PA Kennel License # 1516) 215.750.5252. Visit the Center’s website to view the shelter pets available for adoption or to make a donation: www.womensanimalcenter.org.
Women’s Animal Center, America’s First Animal Shelter provides a variety of vital services to the pets and people of our community, including pet adoptions, a veterinary hospital, dog training, community programs, humane education, and a pet food pantry for families in need.
