BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – More road work is coming to a busy stretch of Route 422 in the Reading and Cumru Township areas.

PennDOT says crews will be making repairs, including patching potholes, next week on Route 422 between the exits for Penn Street and I-176.

Work is planned Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officials say there will be lane restrictions in both directions.

PennDOT says this is the time of year when potholes start popping up.

Drivers should use caution and expect delays while crews make repairs.
