SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A healthy serving of Saint Patrick’s cheer is taking place on Friday in Scranton.

The event known as ‘Firkin Friday’ is underway at Cooper’s Seafood House and runs until 7 pm.

The event is free, and all proceeds from every pint sold from the charity cask will go directly to supporting Scranton’s annual Saint Patrick’s parade.

The parade will be on Saturday, March 14, in downtown Scranton.
