A woman is behind bars after leading police on chase through McKees Rocks that ended in Pittsburgh’s North Side late Friday evening. According to the McKees Rocks Police Department, officers initially were called to respond to a disturbance on Washington Street involving a woman who was “armed with a firearm.” Police have identified the suspect as Aniyah Moore. They say she was in possession of a 40 caliber, illegally modified, fully automatic glock pistol. Moore, according to police, is not allowed to own a gun. Arriving officers found Moore inside of her vehicle on the corner of the street. Officers tried to speak with her but she refused and attempted to speed away. Police say they boxed in her vehicle and that’s when the Moore allegedly reversed into a patrol unit multiple times and hit a McKees Rocks K9 vehicle head-on. Police say the suspect nearly ran over their K9 officer, hitting his hand and arm before he jumped out of the way. Moore fled in her car, which she later crashed into a front yard on Bright Road before she ran from the scene. She was eventually taken into custody with the help of Pittsburgh Police.
