BETHLEHEM – First Selectman Raymond Butkus announced the town’s budget has begun, with department submissions being submitted for consideration. He told selectmen last week that the board will hold a Special Workshop for the Board of Selectmen to work on the budget on March 21 at 9 a.m.

A final draft of the audit has been turned into the town, following a recent review of the first draft by the Board of Finance.

The board reappointed George Murdock to the Christmas Town Festival Committee for a three-year term to expire February 2029. The board also appointed Becky Zielinski and Greg Valente to the Christmas Town Festival Committee for three-year terms to expire February 2029.
