PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team swept South Florida on Saturday at the Hecht Tennis Center, 7-0, improving to 8-3 on the year.

#6 Manfredi Graziani and Aaron Sandler downed #45 Hugo Car and Ettore Danesi in the first spot of doubles.

Parashar Bharadwaj and Matthew Rutter secured another doubles victory as the Red and Blue took a 1-0 lead heading into singles.

Graziani added a singles win as well, defeating #124 Hugo Car for his fourth singles win of the season.

Justin Chung bageled his opponent in the first set and won 6-3 in the second as he secured the first doubles win of the afternoon for Penn.

Luka Butera had an impressive win over #82 Elijah Cham in the second position, winning in two sets.

Matthew Rutter defeated his opponent in the fifth spot, making it 5-0 Quakers.

#121 Shaurya Bharadwaj outlasted Stepan Mruzek after falling behind in the first set, taking the next two for the win.

Freshman Vojtech Vales completed the seven match sweep for the Quakers as he recorded his seventh singles win in his first season donning the Red and Blue.
