VFW Abington Memorial Post 7069, 402 Winola Road, Clarks Summit, St. Patrick’s Day ham and cabbage supper, March 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinners, at $14, also include potato, carrots, roll and butter, and dessert, and may be purchased daily at the post after 3 p.m. or by calling 570-586-9821 or 570-881-0273. There will be 50/50 and basket raffle, and a bagpiper will perform at 4:30.

William Hopkins American Legion Auxiliary Post 570 Bunny Breakfast, March 22, 10 a.m.-noon, Blakely Hose Company 2, 315 Second St., Blakely, $10/adults and free/12 and under, includes scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, sausage and hash browns. Parents may take a photo with the Bunny. Each child will receive a special gift and there will also be a craft table. A basket raffle will be held for those donating items or cash for residents of the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center. Check the Facebook page for American Legion Auxiliary Unit 570 for suggested items. Post 411 Auxiliary cash bingo
Jessup American Legion Michael Steiner Post 411 Auxiliary cash bingo, April 26, post home, 508 Church St. Each game is a cash prize. Doors open at noon and bingo starts promptly at 1 p.m. Only 100 tickets will be sold. Advance tickets are $20 for 12 regular bingo games with four specials at $5/each. This year’s bingo profits will be donated to three local military honor guard squads that conduct funeral services for deceased veterans. The honor guard recipients are from American Legion Post 665, Dickson City, VFW Post 6082, Peckville, and Walter Paciga VFW Post 4712, Simpson. The honor guard representatives will be on hand to answer any questions and dressed in their uniforms. The Auxiliary will also be seeking donations for the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. They are asking players to contribute a M/F hygiene item, socks, crossword books, underwear, reading glasses, notepads/cards, nail files/polish to receive a free bingo game card with an opportunity to win $50. To purchase your ticket or reserve your table, call/text Lorraine Zilla at 570-233-2406. There will be basket raffles, a lottery/cash drawing and a 50/50 drawing. Personal snacks are welcome with light refreshments and adult beverages for purchase. This event is hosted by the Jessup Unit 411 Auxiliary and is open to the public.
