Sunday may have been cold and snowy, but that didn’t stop people from enjoying the first day of the Erie Zoo season.
The zoo opened for its 2026 season at 10:00 in the morning.
The fresh snow didn’t stop families from making their first zoo trip of the year.
Some animals were out, while others were keeping warm inside.
The official zoo kick off is next weekend from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Admission will be free that entire day, and people can enjoy some breakfast treats.
