An early morning crash on Sunday caused at least two people to go to the hospital and a road closure.
THROOP, Pa. — A crash shut down a road early Sunday morning in Lackawanna County.Â
Investigators say that at around 12:30 a.m., a car ran off the road, clipped a utility pole, and then flipped.
The crash happened along Olyphant Avenue near Throop.
Authorities closed off the road while they worked to clear the scene. It has since been reopened.Â
Newswatch 16 observed at least two people being taken to the hospital.
There is no word yet on their condition after the crash.Â
