WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – A new destination for crepes, ice cream, smoothies, acai bowls, loaded waffles and other sweet treats is coming soon to Lehigh County.
Sip + Dip, a fast-casual eatery offering coffee, ice cream, desserts and more, is expected to open in late March at 2407 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township, co-founder Kaley Johnson told 69 News.
The shop, which is currently under construction, will operate a couple of doors down from Five Guys in the Whitehall Plaza shopping center.

Guests will be able to enjoy fresh eats and drinks such as acai bowls, Dubai strawberries, smoothies, fresh juice and coffee.
Several menu items, including crepes, mini pancakes and waffles loaded with various sweet toppings, will be made to order.
Savory crepes may be introduced down the line, Johnson said.
The shop also will feature around eight flavors of ice cream, sourced from a local producer, along with other chilled treats such as milkshakes and ice cream cakes, Johnson added.
Indoor seating and takeout will be available.
Johnson, a 2021 graduate of Parkland High School, also is a co-owner of Just Call the Labor and Haulers, a roughly two-year-old business offering local junk removal, snow removal, moving and other labor services.
Opening the new sweet shop will represent the fulfillment of a “longtime dream,” Johnson said.
“It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do,” she added. “At first, I was just looking to offer acai bowls, but then the concept expanded into a wide variety of desserts.”
Signage announcing Sip + Dip’s upcoming opening has already been installed, and Johnson has heard from several community members eager for the shop’s debut.
“People are very excited,” Johnson said.
In the Whitehall Plaza, Sip + Dip is joining a diverse lineup of tenants that also includes other food and dining spots such as Five Guys, Saladworks, Pizza Hut, China Hut and Philly Pretzel Factory.
