In February, GoErie.com featured photo galleries of selected Erie County homes for sale with unique features or in prime locations. Erie County home sales prices reported by Realtor.com show the median home sold for $200,000 in November, the most recent month for which figures are available.
Last year, the average sales price for a house in Erie County was $223,618, up 2.4% from 2024 when the price was $218,480, according to the Greater Erie Board of Realtors.

The 1,300-square-foot, one-bedroom condominium at 634 W. Second St., Apt. 205 was built in 1985 but recently renovated. It was recently listed for sale for $259,900.
167 Joliette Ave.
The four-bedroom, split-level home at 167 Joliette Ave. is nestled in the Lake Cliff subdivision, one block away from Lake Erie. Built in 1965, the 2,183-square-foot home sits on a 9,583-square-foot lot and offers 2½ baths, wood flooring, a large family room with a wood-burning fireplace and a below-deck hot tub and sliding door entrance to the basement living area. The house was recently listed for sale for $335,000.
261 E. Eighth St.
The Victorian-style home at 261 E. Eighth St. was built in 1897 and features seven bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Perhaps the most interesting part of the 3,466-square-foot estate is an interior two-room guest cottage. The home, which sits on a 8,276-square-foot lot, includes 15 rooms total, natural woodwoork, a spiral staircase and several updates. The home was recently listed for $295,000.
