COOPERSBURG, Pa. – There was a “buzz” on Sunday in Lehigh County.
Beginner bee-keepers got to learn some of the important basics.
The class was held in Coopersburg by representatives of Awckland’s Sugar Shack and Apiary.
People paid to take part in the class. The money goes to charity.
Bee-keeping has taken on added importance the last few years.
Scientists say bees are in danger due to parasites, loss of habitat, climate change and pesticides.
