ASTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTAJ) — A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket in Pennsylvania turned into $200,000 thanks to the ticket holder purchasing Power Play.
The Powerball Jackpot for Saturday, Feb. 28, was an estimated $238 million. The big winner of $200,000 matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball. They also had Power Play active, which was a multiplier of four this time. Without Power Play, the ticket would have been worth $50,000.
The winning ticket was sold at John’s Corner Deli on Concord Road in Aston Township, Delaware County. They will earn a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Two other tickets matched four numbers and the Powerball without Power Play. They’re worth $50,000.

According to PA Lottery officials, more than 29,000 other tickets are worth between $4 and $500.
Powerball officials report that no million-dollar winners were sold across the country in the last drawing.
The Powerball jackpot for Monday, March 2, is an estimated $249 million.
