Northampton County is awash with dining deals, as nearly two dozen restaurants showcase prix-fixe, multi-course menus and other promotions during two restaurant weeks in the Slate Belt and Bath and Northampton areas.

The sixth annual Greater Northampton Area Restaurant Week – presented by Greater Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce – kicked off Sunday, March 1, and continues through Saturday, March 7, while Slate Belt Restaurant Week – presented by the Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce – kicked off Monday, March 2, and continues through Sunday, March 8.

Greater Northampton Area Restaurant Week

Restaurants participating in Greater Northampton Area Restaurant Week include Point Phillips Hotel, Seemsville Pub & Grille, The Gin Mill and Grille, My Place Pizzeria, Assante Ristorante Italiano, Villa Grande, Mountain Side Pizza and Don Chuy Kitchen.

Point Phillips Hotel in Moore Township is offering a $30, three-course menu with entree options of Pennsylvania Dutch pork and sauerkraut, smokehouse grilled cheese, Blue Mountain crab cake or smokehouse 2-meat sampler (hickory-smoked pulled pork and three-rib section of baby back ribs).

Additional multi-course menus are available at Assante in Northampton ($39; four-course menu with entree options of salmon della casa, steak and chips, candele ricotta e salsiccia or pennette alla diavola); Seemsville Pub in Allen Township ($33, four-course menu with entrée options of flat iron steak, marinated BBQ chicken breast or beer battered fish and chips).

My Place Pizzeria in Bath will offer a variety of specials, including two large plain pizzas for $29, a Bradley Cooper cheesesteak for $15 and a 2 for $30 dinner special (choice of two entrees: chicken Marsala or chicken piccata, each served with linguine, side salad and garlic knots).

Other deals will include a free Nutella dessert pizza with the purchase of any two entrees (dine-in only) at Villa Grande in Bath; and various takeout specials including a $40 Taco Night Deal (10 taco tray or birria box with 12 wings or loaded nachos tray) and $55 Family Fiesta Pack (12 tacos, rice and beans tray, chips and guac and four empanadas) at Don Chuy in Moore Township.

Other multi-course menus are available at DAT’s in Plainfield Township ($25, three-course menu with entree options of coconut shrimp wrap, Philly cheesesteak, Southern fried chicken sandwich or choice of signature burger); Detzi’s Tavern in Wind Gap ($25; three-course menu with an entree of two classic siders with fries); and Slate Belt Brewing Co. ($28, three-course menu with main options of “We’re Jammin’ Burger” or “The Ranch Hand” buttermilk fried chicken sandwich).

Other promotions include specials such as $9 burrata appetizer, $18 slow-braised pork shank and $21 crab-stuffed flounder at Broadway Pub in Bangor; dinner specials (served with soup or salad) such as stuffed pork chops, chicken pappardelle pasta and seafood fra diavolo at 5 Points Grill & Pub in Upper Mount Bethel; and specials such as calamari, short rib, a Cuban sandwich and triple chocolate cheesecake at Richmond Farm & Brewery in Washington Township.

Additionally, Scorecard Sports Bar & Grill in Wind Gap is offering food specials such as $14 Irish quesadillas, $15 peanut butter bacon cheeseburgers and $17 flamin’ hot chicken sandwiches; Allegheny Creek Brewing in Upper Mount Bethel is offering specials including $12 hot crab dip, $20 Allegheny brisket pie and $10 blueberry cookie sundae; Riverside Barr & Grill in Lower Mount Bethel is offering specials such as $15.95 lasagna roll-ups, French dip sandwich or Italian chicken sandwich; and Rustica Artisan in Upper Mount Bethel is featuring a variety of specials, including Philly cheesesteak soup, Cuban eggrolls and lobster grilled cheese, among others.
