At around 2:35 a fire was called in for a residence at 8494 Wattsburg Road. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Crews are working to contain the flames.
Route 8 or Wattsburg Road is closed to traffic so that crews can work freely.

Our Erie News Now crew have determined that Fire Departments Belle Valley, Millcreek, Kuhl, Greenfield, and Brookside have all responded to the fire.
A Kuhl ambulance is on scene and a male individual was seen alert and being taken in an ambulance, his condition is unknown at this time.
According to our crew member the fire seems to mostly be on the second floor.
