A 35-year-old man from Oaklyn and Barrington has been jailed in Bucks County, PA, after Bensalem Township police said he pursued who he believed was a 13-year-old girl online, requested sexual images, and described plans to pick her up in Pennsylvania for sex.
Justin Orio turned himself in at the Bensalem Township Police Department on Feb. 18 and was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children involving photo and video abuse material, and related offenses, according to a department report.
He was arraigned by district justice Joseph Falcone and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $750,000 bail. The charges are accusations; Orio is presumed innocent unless proved guilty in court.
Police emphasized that no juvenile was ever in danger during the investigation.
Messages Began in November
According to investigators, the case began Nov. 30, 2025, when Orio allegedly initiated a conversation on a social media or dating application with someone he believed was a 13-year-old middle school student living in Bensalem.
During that initial chat, police said, Orio asked whether the girl was a virgin and requested photographs of her. The online conversation continued for several days before it tapered off.
Detectives reported that contact resumed nearly a month later. On Dec. 29, 2025, Orio allegedly re-engaged the account he believed belonged to the 13-year-old and asked if she wanted to go out and come to his home in New Jersey.
Investigators said he then described in graphic detail the sexual acts he claimed to be planning with her. Police reported that he told the juvenile he would drive to her residence in Bensalem, pick her up, and take her back to his home across state lines.
During these exchanges, Orio allegedly asked for nude photographs of the juvenile’s breasts and tried to reassure her that she would not get in trouble and that her mother would not find out, according to the police account.
