(WHTM) — A freezing Tuesday morning has all the elements needed to glaze Pennsylvania’s roads with ice, leading PennDOT to place vehicle restrictions on parts of the state.

So far, PennDOT placed Tier 1 restrictions on some major roads. The restriction prohibits semi-trucks without trailers, with no loads or with light loads. Passenger vehicles towing trailers, RVs, motorcycles and buses without chains must also stay off roads with a Tier 1 restriction.
