United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania received a donation of more than 100 brand-new winter coats, along with hats and scarves, from Froggy 101 to support the Angel’s Attic Food & Clothing Pantry, located at 410 Olive St. in Scranton. These winter essentials were collected through Froggy 101’s annual coat drive and were distributed to families in need who visit the pantry. The donation came at a critical time as families prepared for colder weather and faced increasing costs of living. UNC’s Community Services Department, which houses the Angel’s Attic Food & Clothing Pantry, provides food, clothing and household essentials to thousands of residents each year. Everyone who visits meets with a UNC case manager to ensure that all basic needs are addressed and to connect them with resources that promote long-term stability and independence.
