Pamela Ziegenfus A. Wilson
OBITUARY
Pamela A. Wilson (née Ziegenfus), 79, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in Allentown, surrounded by her loving family. Her final words, “I love you guys,” reflected the deep devotion to family that defined her life.
Born in August 1946 in Peoria, Illinois, Pamela was the daughter of the late Rev. James E. Ziegenfus and Olive L. Ziegenfus (née Warmkessel). She was also preceded in death by her sister, Della Lord.
Pamela was a devoted and loving mother to Wendy Otto; Susan Skutnik and her husband, Ken; Gary Wilson and his wife, Ayhan; and Ken Wilson and his wife, Angela. She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her brothers, James E. Ziegenfus and Paul A. Ziegenfus.
Throughout her life, Pamela was actively involved in the Lutheran church wherever she lived, faithfully serving her congregation and forming lasting friendships within her church communities. Her faith was a guiding force in her life and was reflected in her compassion, generosity, and steadfast support of others.
Pamela was deeply devoted to her family and was known for her kindness to strangers and her welcoming spirit. She was a strong and passionate supporter of neurodiversity, advocating for understanding, inclusion, and acceptance.
A viewing and time to gather will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
