Wendy Jo Durling
OBITUARY
Wendy Jo Durling, of Scranton PA went home with Jesus on February 21, 2026. She was the daughter of Betty Rodney Tyler, Scranton and the late Edward Joseph Durling. She was surrounded by family and friends during her brave battle with illness.
She leaves behind a daughter, Debi L. Durling; grandchildren Charles, Kelly and Carley; a bother Jerry Durling and Melissa; a sister Billie Jo Fuller and many nieces and nephews. Her sister Dena Gomez proceeded her in death.
Wendy worked in various jobs, including a machine shop and bagging golf tees.
Wendy loved her family and friends. She enjoyed celebrating in dinners, holiday parties, concerts, visits home and picnics. Wendy also enjoyed listening to music, writing letters, coloring, doing puzzles, arts, and crafts and wrote her checks. She was a very giving soul. Wendy will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:15 am at Keyser Valley Community Center, 103 North Keyser Ave., Scranton, PA 18504; with the Pastor Nick Patterson to officiate. Please come if you are able.
