The 2026 World Baseball Classic is here. Featuring 20 national teams, pool play begins March 4 and the tournament spans 14 days.

The Classic Final will be played at 8:00 p.m. ET on March 17 at loanDepot park in Miami.

The Phillies will also play an exhibition vs. Team Canada on March 4 at BayCare Ballpark, with Aaron Nola slated to start.

His first time in the country will be to represent them in the World Baseball Classic

March 3 (Tuesday):

USA vs. San Francisco Giants

Bryce Harper continued his hit hot spring in the first inning, lining a double off of Giants righty Adrian Houser. New York’s Aaron Judge would then drive a two-run single to give USA a 2-0 lead. Kyle Schwarber worked a walk in the effort.

Israel vs. Miami Marlins

Garrett Stubbs was the lone source of offense for Israel in their 1-0 victory. He drilled a fourth-inning RBI triple scoring Rockies prospect Cole Carrigg. He would also walk and catch all nine innings.

Panama vs. New York Yankees

Edmundo Sosa faced off against New York’s Max Fried. The infielder drew an o-fer, going 0-for-3 in the Yankees’ 11-1 win.

Mexico vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Taijuan Walker made the start. He worked in-and-out of trouble in the first inning, striking the final two men out on sliders. Then, he set the D-backs down in order in the second. Two scoreless frames, two walks and two punch outs.

Netherlands vs. Baltimore Orioles

Despite their 8-5 victory, Jaydenn Estanista allowed two earned runs, surrendering a soft two-run single to Baltimore’s José Barrero in the sixth.
