Bensalem authorities were called to a house fire on the 2700 block of Bellview Drive about 2:45AM. When fire crews arrived, they found a house with heavy smoke pour from the windows and eaves. A male outside told firefighters a female was still inside.
Firefighters went inside and found Christine Toal inside at the kitchen. They immediately started life saving efforts but were not successful. According to Police spokes person Glenn Vandegrift, Toal was p-pronounced dead at the scene of the fire. There were no other injuries besides the male who met fire fighters outside.
He was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained. The cause of fire has yet to be determined and is under investigation by Bensalem authorities.
