Law enforcement officials have declared a local textile facility safe after a message written on a bathroom wall Monday concerned management, said Carbondale Police Chief Brian Bognatz.

Law enforcement responded to the Gentex facility at about 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Bognatz said the language couldn’t be described as a threat, but management wanted to take every precaution to keep workers safe.

Law enforcement officers went out to the facility Tuesday and, with four K9 officers, cleared the building and declared it safe, concluding the investigation, Bognatz said.
