OBITUARY
Deborah A. Rossi, 68, of South Scranton died Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Allied Services Hospice Center.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Ross Rossi, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School.
She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Ann’s Parish. She enjoyed planning and attending religious pilgrimages to The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and to The Divine Mercy Shrine. She loved sitting on her porch in the sunshine and watching her grandchildren ride bikes and play in the alley. Her family and 10 grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer McIntyre and fianc, Mark Wesloski, of Scranton, along with children, Jake, Elaina, Emily, and Benjamin; and Catherine Cook and her husband, Cleveland, of Scranton, along with children, Noah, Michael, Christian, Gabriella, Rylan, and Ariah. She is also survived by her former husband, John McIntyre; her sister, Shirley Terbovich; her brother, Joseph Rossi, and his wife, Jeanne; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Diane Rossi.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Basilica Parish, 1250 St. Ann’s St. All attending the funeral Mass are kindly asked to proceed directly to church. Interment in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
