SCRANTON, PA — On Sunday, March 8, beginning at 1 p.m., the Everhart Museum will host astronaut Paul Richards in an event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the STS-102 mission. A meet-and-greet taking place between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. will be included in museum admission costs. A VIP event and presentation takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the museum.
The STS-102 mission took Americans to the International Space Station, and Richards, a NASA mission specialist, is a Dunmore native.
During the VIP portion, Richard will discuss the mission and his contributions to the International Space Station, as well as aspects of the Everhart’s current exhibition Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe.
