(WHTM)– Gas prices are a massive topic of discussion everywhere from American families’ dinner tables to the federal government.
Gas prices have risen and fallen over recent years due to global conflicts, trade tariffs, and other circumstances. Prices have once again risen nationwide amid growing uncertainty about the U.S. military’s operations in Iran, according to Forbes.
Data from AAA shows gas prices have risen in Pennsylvania in recent days, but what do average prices look like in the Midstate?
Today’s AAA National Average is $3.198 a gallon for regular. The average in Pennsylvania, according to AAA, is $3.297 for regular and $4.109 for premium. Only yesterday, Pennsylvania’s average was $3.207.

What does it look like for Midstate counties? AAA said that county-average gas prices are updated daily to reflect price changes.
The Midstate county with the highest current average price-per-gallon for regular is Mifflin County, which is at $3.528. That is among the highest averages per county in the state. York County sits below that, with an average of $3.321 per gallon.
Adams, Dauphin, Lancaster, Cumberland, Perry, Lebanon, and Franklin all sit in the $3.320 to $3.248 per gallon range.
