The North Coast Serve & Support (NCSS) Campaign will take place throughout the month of March. The campaign has been launched through Household HQ and their community partners. Featured training sessions are scheduled for March 23 and March 24 at the Blasco Library.

NCSS will support and sponsor Erie United Methodist Alliance (EUMA) and St. Patrick’s Haven.

Through the campaign staff working in shelters or warming locations will receive Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training with Naloxone and Opioid Overdose response education.

Household HQ have designated $1,800 for training certificates with the American Red Cross ensuring that up to 36 individuals can be trained and certified in CPR, AED, First Aid and Opioid Overdose response.

Beginning on March 10, hygiene and personal items, clothing essentials such as socks and undergarments, and other items will be collected through the campaign at several different donation bins.

These donation bins will be located at several community locations including the Millcreek Mall and other partnered sites.

Little Explorers Christian Academy will house a student-led internal donation drive as part of a community service project.

The community can also donate monetary donations to offset training costs and strengthen connection with sponsored locations.

“This campaign is about equipping the people who care for our most vulnerable community members,” said David Kohl, Founder of Household HQ. “Preparedness and compassion go hand in hand. By combining training, essential goods, and financial support, we are helping ensure shelters and warming locations are better prepared to serve individuals during critical moments.”
