Scranton fire crews were called Wednesday afternoon after 10 boxcars carrying wine derailed.

SCRANTON, Pa. — A train carrying wine derailed, causing a fuel leak, on Wednesday in Scranton.

The Scranton Fire Department was called to the track behind the ID Logistics building in the Stauffer Industrial Park just before 2 p.m., after 10 boxcars carrying wine derailed.

The diesel fuel tank bottomed out and scraped against the tracks, causing a leak which crews contained to about 100 gallons.

The wine in the cars was not damaged, and nobody was injured.Â
