READING, Pa. – Police have made an arrest in a shooting that wounded one person in Reading.
Luis Cartagena is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related offenses.
Police say he shot a man during a fight in the 500 block of Schuylkill Avenue in September 2025. The victim was struck in the leg.
Online court records list Cartagena as in custody at Berks County Jail after being denied bail.
He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 13.
