A man is dead after being shot in Northeast Philadelphia on Wednesday night, according to the police department.
The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. on the 6600 block of Summerdale Avenue in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philly, police said.
An adult man was shot during the incident and taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead around 7:37 p.m., officials said.
No word yet on what led to the shooting or if anyone has been arrested.
