NEW BETHLEHEM – A Shippenville women faces drug paraphernalia charges following an incident in New Bethlehem on Feb. 24.

Amanda Mae Blair, 31, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false identification to police.

According to Officer Robert Kelly of the Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department, police received information that Blair was in the Press Your Luck Casino along Broad Street at around 4:45 p.m., and that an arrest warrant had been issued for her by the Clarion County probation Department.

Kelly and police Chief Robert Malnofsky approached Blair in the business, noting that she was seated at a game table near the doorway.

At first when asked if she was Amanda Blair, police said Blair said she was not. During further questioning, she reportedly admitted to being Blair, and was taken into custody.

During a search of her purse, police said they found a cloth bag which contained a glass pipe that is commonly used for inhaling methamphetamine. The pipe had residue in it, police said.

The charges were filed Feb. 24 with District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller.
