DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Drivers in Dickson City should expect delays Thursday as utility work has reduced traffic to a single alternating lane along portions of Main Street.
The Dickson City Police Department issued a traffic advisory noting that one lane of travel is in effect on the 500, 800, and 900 blocks of Main Street. Motorists traveling through those areas will encounter alternating traffic patterns and are likely to experience slowdowns and backups.
Police are encouraging commuters to consider alternate routes, especially during peak travel times, to avoid congestion.
The lane restrictions will remain in place while crews complete the utility work.
