The cause of a fire that tore through parts of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City on Feb. 4 is still under investigation, according to Dickson City Fire Chief Richard Chowanec.
Because of the extent of the damage, fire officials have currently listed the cause as “undetermined,” but he expects a final cause to be determined some time in April.
Multiple insurance companies are doing a joint investigation, he said.
The hospital reopened on its emergency department and operating rooms in its main building on Feb. 13.
