Police are hoping they can identify a driver who they say may have witnessed a deadly crash that happened along Route 100 in Upper Macungie Township on Feb. 19, 2026.

According to police, the deadly crash happened at about 6:14 p.m. along Route 100 in Upper Macungie Township, north of Wertman Road, when a GMC Sierra, headed southbound, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Honda sedan head-on.

The impact killed the 27-year-old Allentown man behind the wheel of the Honda and, officials said, the 61-year-old man from Breinigsville, who was driving the GMC Sierra was seriously injured.

As an investigation into this crash continues, police have released an image of a vehicle that was in the area at the time of the crash and a driver who may have witnessed the crash.

Officials are asking this individual to come forward and are seeking help in identifying this individual to help the ongoing investigation.
