A row home in the 100 block of Greenwich Street in Reading was damaged by a blaze Thursday, according to emergency reports.
Initial calls at about 4:45 noted a fire on the back porch of the three-story structure.
Crews responded within minutes and noted heavy flames in the rear of the building.
Videos posted to social media show flames engulfing a wooden porch on the second floor. Reports noted the fire spread to at least one room in the building.
Crews ran three lines and had the bulk of the fire knocked down by 4:48 p.m.
Firefighters opened up the roof and third-floor window to check for signs of spreading fire. The blaze was placed under control at 4:56 p.m.
