ROBESON TWP., Pa. – A military helicopter made an unexpected landing in a southern Berks County field Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after 1 p.m. in a field located in the 100 block of Moyer Road, Robeson Township.

Initial emergency dispatches called for a military helicopter that landed in a field after experiencing some type of issue.

A fire official on scene told 69 News the issue was with the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters’ sensors, which prompted the emergency landing.

Two National Guard members were aboard, but no injuries were reported and the helicopter was not damaged. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
