Florence E. Guratosky
OBITUARY
Florence E. Guratosky 84, of Carbondale passed away Monday, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Peckville she was the daughter of the late Harold Sr. and Claire Kennedy Black.
She is survived by her children: John (Holly), Chester, Diane, Theresa, Rachel, Michele (Joe), 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters Leona Griffith, Kim Korshnak. Brothers George Black, Vaughn Black, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by daughter Kathleen, grandson Michael, sister Lois, Brothers Gene, Ervin, John, and Harold.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and entire staff at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and kindness shown to Flo and her family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 8th from 5 to 7pm at the Charles A Battenberg Funeral Home, Jermyn.
