Vehicles damaged during blasting work in Dickson City

Some cars in the Wegmans parking lot in Dickson City were damaged during blasting work at a nearby quarry.

DICKSON CITY, Pa. — Some vehicles in a grocery store parking lot were damaged on Friday during blasting work at a quarry in Dickson City.

Crews were conducting blasting work at the quarry along Business Route 6 just before noon near Wegmans grocery store.

A woman in the parking lot shared a picture of her smashed rear window.

Wegmans told Newswatch 16 that several vehicles in their parking lot were damaged. 

Dickson City Police say they have to complete their investigation before further details are released.
