Pittsburgh, PA — A restaurant in Cranberry has been cited by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for health risks.

Inspection violations were noted at Juniper Grill on Mackenzie Way. The inspection occurred on March 4.

What was found:

The slicer blade guard, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to the inspector’s sight and touch.Plastic utensils used for cooking were “deformed and misshapen” from heat and are not durable.Employees were observed in the cook line area not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers.

The restaurant remains open.
