A bridge in Dunmore has been temporarily closed because of safety concerns.
A post on the borough’s Facebook page Sunday morning said the Bunker Hill bridge, also known as the Mill Street bridge, “is being temporarily closed until safety concerns are evaluated and addressed.”
Police were made aware of the situation before 11 a.m., 911 reports indicated.
The bridge carries Mill Street over Roaring Brook and railroad tracks, and passes underneath Interstate 81.
Borough officials said notification would be posted when the bridge is reopened.
