A road was closed between Lammey Road and Hill Road in Chester County.
CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. — A trooper was shot in Chester County on Sunday.
Chester County County Commissioner Eric Roe confirmed Sunday evening that the trooper was attempting to make a traffic stop when he was shot.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday released a statement on Facebook calling for prayers for the trooper.
A road closure is in effect for Lammey Road and Hill Road while police investigate.
No word yet on the condition of the trooper.
