SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — We’re in the home stretch for preparations leading to Scranton’s 64th Annual Saint Patrick’s Parade.

Monday afternoon, the Department of Public Works painted festive green traffic lines along the route of the parade.

Counting down to parade day

They began at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Mulberry Street and finished at Vine Street.

It’s a tradition that has been going on for more than 35 years.
