OBITUARY

Robert J. Rosiecki, RPh, of Clarks Summit, passed peacefully on March 6, in the arms of his loving wife of 39 years.

Born in Scranton on June 6, 1946, to the late Walter Rosiecki Sr. and Mary Staleny Rosiecki, Bob was raised in Dickson City. He graduated from Scranton Preparatory School in 1964 and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1969.

Bob owned and operated Rosiecki’s Pharmacy in Peckville as its proprietor and registered pharmacist. He later worked at Mercy and Geisinger CMC hospitals, retiring in 2013. Bob was passionate about his work and was a member of many pharmaceutical associations, including the Lackawanna County Pharmacy Association, where he was honored for 50 years of service as a registered pharmacist and for his active interest, untiring devotion, and meritorious service to the profession of pharmacy and the community he served.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, the former Ann Marie Juliano; his siblings, Dr. Michael Rosiecki and his wife, Carol, of Clarks Summit; Marilyn Jones and her husband, Eric, of Archbald; and Mark Rosiecki and his wife, Karen, of Dickson City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored and who greatly adored him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Rosiecki Jr.

Bob greatly enjoyed traveling, especially the many trips he shared with his wife, Ann Marie, creating a lifetime of cherished memories throughout Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean. He was also a devoted car enthusiast, taking great joy in collecting, restoring, and appreciating automobiles. His passions and zest for life brought joy to those around him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, 1090 Carmalt Street, Dickson City celebrated by Monsignor Patrick J. Pratico. Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left on the funeral homes website.
