Scammers are targeting Erie Apparel with a fake website.
The fraudulent site, eliteerieapparel.shop, mimics the store’s official page, erieapparel.com.
Owner Greg Straub discovered the scam Monday and has filed takedown requests.
He urges customers to shop only at the official site or in-store. “This is more of a public service announcement to make sure that if you’re shopping with us you’re doing so on official channels. And, be extra diligent about looking out for scams,” says Straub.
Straub warns shoppers to stay vigilant and avoid the fake site, as purchases there won’t deliver any products.
Remember, Erie Apparel’s only official website is erieapparel.com. Stay cautious and shop safely.
