MONMOUTH COUNTY — Three local residents were among the 153 University of Scranton students who studied abroad through travel courses and service trips during the Intersession 2026 semester.

Students participating from the Eastern Monmouth County area include:
• Emma D’Avanzo, of Rumson, majoring in occupational therapy, participated in the university travel course, Physical Rehabilitation in Various Cities, Dominican Republic.
• Quinn Pipercic, of Red Bank, majoring in business administration, participated in the Council on International Educational Exchange in Rome, Italy.
• Olivia Zrebiec, of Belford, majoring in biology, participated in the university travel course, Tropical Biology in Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
